Added fake placeholder versions of the new c++0x 'noexcept' and 'nullptr' keywords, and altered the library classes to use these instead of 'throw()' and '0'. This shouldn't make any difference at all to existing code, but will enable better static checking with future c++0x compilers.

Added a button size option to the PreferencesPanel. Added an operator for writing Strings to std::wcout. Fixed a clipping error in audio float to int conversion. Made the introjucer cope with backslashes in filenames when used on unix.

Removed a couple of old classes: MagnifierComponent (you can use Component::setTransform() instead), and MouseHoverDetector (wasn't really very useful anyway - if you need it, please just take a copy of the class and use it in your own code). Renamed the PopupMenuCustomComponent as an inner class PopupMenu::CustomComponent. Added a default constructor for MidiMessage.

Rewrote the AudioThumbnail class to support some new features like using readers and adding data directly to the thumb. Added an option to AudioFormatWriter::ThreadedWriter to take a thumbnail which it dynamically generates while recording. Added a couple of new maths functions: findMinAndMax, isPositiveAndBelow.

Small change to method in RectanglePlacement and Drawable to use Rectangles instead of bare coordinates. Fix to make ValueTree::sort use an UndoManager, and to prevent different mouse buttons being interpreted as a double-click.

Stage 1 of a redesign of Drawables - instead of a DrawableComposite storing a tranform for each child, each type of drawable now stores its own transform, and these are represented as remapped points instead of affine transforms. Plus, lots of minor tweaks and jucer development.

New class StringPool. Removed the class var::identifier from its parent class, and renamed it "Identifier" - I've left a typedef in var to allow old code to still work, but I'll remove this at some point, so please switch to using the new classname directly. Jucer development.

New class: NamedValueSet, which is a simple container for named var objects. Removed the clunky get/setComponentProperty methods and replaced them a single method Component::getProperties(), which returns a NamedValueSet for that component - if you've used component properties in your code you might need to change your syntax, but this is a cleaner solution, and using var objects for the data is more powerful than the old, string-based implementation. Also fixed a Mac image rendering bug.

Added X-windows locking for all linux windowing, and added a class ScopedXLock to allow it to be done around client code as well. Misc fixes for mac menus, win32 WM_QUIT messages, MidiKeyboardComponent. Added text colour id to DirectoryContentsDisplayComponent.

New class: Value, which provides a way to share variants and listen for changes to them. Adapted Slider to use Value objects for its position, and changed the widgets demo to show how they can be easily tied together. Updated the VST speaker arrangement code.
